So 40 MHz on 5 GHz radio reduce that risk ...First - Ubiquiti doesn't offer any 2.5GB class devices in their Unifi line. Either 10GbE/10Gb SFP+ or 1GbE. Also something to keep in mind, Cat6 is generally good for 10GbE up to a 180ft run. I have the same little R2D2 Dream Machine and like it, but it's got its limitations. But it depends on what you do on your network, surveillance, home media servers, integrated access control, redundant networking loops, load balancing, ISP failover, all of that stuff you can't do. According to a Ubiquiti employee's post on the Ubiquiti forums, the UCG has a 4-core Cortex-A53 processor; the UX also uses a Cortex-A53 but it only has two cores. The UDR internet speed was max 650 Mbps on a 1 Gbps connection, on WiFi I could reach 600 Mbps - when using the UDM-Pro and the same AP's I got WiFi 700 Mbps. The UDR was stable and did a good job, in real life testing I could not feel the difference between WiFi 600 and 700 Mbps.Only a few products have gone up in price since the chip shortage and shipping crisis. It's generally not a good idea. You only need one combined 2.4 and 5GHz SSID for all your personal devices, if you activate MAC authorization. You can bring your devices into specific vlans with this configuration. You need a separate SSID for your guests.
