Wind Bolt (with an Air staff) is 70gp per cast, for 9 damage. Fire Strike (with a Fire staff) is 13gp per cast for 8 damage. You do the maths. Looking at the damage table it looks like higher level spells always give more damage no matter what element they are, but I frequently see guides….In this video i show where i used fire surge how good it was there and some other places where it might be good to use.The early magic levels breeze by.
