A lot of guys cannot evaluate the 45-70 Govt vs. 450 Marlin because they have too much an nostalgic attachment to the 45-70 Govt cartridge.The 795 is fairly easy to field strip and clean. There are also some very good stickies on the Marlin Semiauto forum on how to disassemble and tweak the trigger. The 64 requires removing the barrel (by removing a 7/16 hex-head bolt and clamp) to remove the bolt and clean it.
