As others have stated yes, you can shoot .45 auto using the G29's frame and would need a complete upper and .45 auto mags and you will be in business. Just remember to keep it same generation 2-or-3 vs 4. The G29 and G30 (any) use the same frame as does the the G20 and G21 ….
