Built on the MDRs literature [ 33, 34 ], this study was performed with two aims: (1) to investigate the effect of family income at birth on gang presence in the neighborhood at age 15 and (2) to compare the effect of family income at birth on the future gang presence in the neighborhood between Black and White families.
