I have a 99 tahoe 4X4 and have been reading for sometime that the swap is well worth the price and well worth the benefits. My big question is; everyone says the have been getting their info/pcm for doing the swap from "Lextech." Is this a vendor...OK I am struggling to get this thing to run right. This is as fitted to the 1996 C4. There are also options for the earlier LT1 equipped cars but there is some mechcanical work as well as repinning the PCM connectors.Find a 5.3L using the same operating system and swap the engine segments.
